Are you, or anyone you know, interested in changing the waythe world thinks about food marketing, public policy, consulting, or consumerresearch? If so, this new Masterof Professional Studies (MPS) in Agriculture and Life Sciences withconcentration in Applied Behavioral Economics and Individual Choice mightbe just what you/or them have been looking for!

Thisunique 2 semesters MPS program, co-directed by Dr.Brian Wansink and Dr.David Just is offered through the Dyson School of Applied Economics and Managementat Cornell University. It brings together useful new solutions fromthe social sciences that are targeted at improving consumer welfare as well asfirm performance.  

This unique 2-semestersprogram (currently in its first year) focuses on applying behavioral economicsto social and market issues.  It bringstogether useful new solutions from the social sciences that help consumerswithout hurting the bottom line. Students have the opportunity to stylize theirprogram in one of three areas of focus: Behavioral Marketing, Sustainabilityand Behavior, and Behavioral Finance. Each of these concentrations is focusedon developing innovative managers, entrepreneurs, and researchers for relatedindustries, the government, the health care system and NGOs

Applicationsare open and will be reviewed on a rolling basis. Priority will be given to applications received before December 15th,2014 with decisions made by February 15th, 2015. Forapplications received after Dec 15th, 2014 admission decisions willbe made within six weeks of submission. Finaldeadline is April 15th 2015.
