Then, the author proposes a solution: to influence human decision making, you have to influence the unconscious mind instead of presenting the data firstly. The author also use a research made by C to support it.

Main idea: analyze the reason and propose the specific process
Why the unconscious mind is better
The data is conscious and needed care, but emotional power such as telling a story can do better than data. The author also describes how the unconscious mind influences our investment behavior and customer behavior. We firstly make decision by emotion and ask for reason by rational behavior

The loss of this year of Sony is a surprise beyond the expectation of Bloomberg, and the author presents many data to support his idea. The author analyzes the reasons for loss, the first one is dumping PC, this will increase cost in short time. Second one is the competitive in TV field is more intensive.

Sony wants to get rid of TV, but the removing is not easy because of the cost of removing. The market can’t wait. On the other hand, The successful movie made by Sony in china brings good news to gloom, and the author uses data to support it. But the gloom has no relationship with TV.

Target-date funds seems simple, but many people use them incorrectly and see a lower returns
And the author describe how they use them incorrectly, Savers should have at least 95 percent of their money in a target date fund but less than 17 percent of people do this.

Main idea:The author describes a problem of reduction in labor productivity, analyzes the reasons and propose the solution.
Firstly, the author use a specific example about festival and data compared with china and India to support his argument.
Secondly, reasons are poor quality education though the education develops fast, poor management compared with American, tax policy, exceed protection like policy to the foreign technology goods leading the company to buy high cost and poor quality local goods instead of better foreign goods .
At last, the author proposes the solution: deregulation. The author uses the successful experience in the past about the financial service and agriculture to support his idea.
