SPEED:
02:43 the definition of mutualistic relationship and examples about the concept
time3,4 03:47 the research and experiment towards the relationship of large mammals, ants and trees. the result show that large mammals such as elephant actually plays an important role in the overall system and they should be protected from over-hunting
02:44 fungi can help the growth of plant as well as to overcome excessive heat
01:54 the fungi has more effects than expected if it follows "the right microbe from the right habitat". however, fungi also has its own drawbacks and more experiment should be carried out
OBSTACLE:
07:14 the finding of a kind of spider which feed on vegetable instead of insects. they live together without any corporation and further research is carrying on

T2  02:01.7  Explain what is mutualism and describe the advantage and importance of mutualism.
T3  01:51.3   Large herbivores like elephant and giraffe can let acacia trees produce little ant houses in hollow thorns and these ants can help the plants grow well.
T4  01:01.5   Large herbivores are tremendously important players in this ecosystem, not just because of the direct effects they have upon plants, but also because of the myriad effects they exert on smaller, less conspicuous components of biodiversity.
T5  01:51.5  Scientists apply fungi to plants in order to find a new way to boost production.
T6  01:45.2  The new way is effective but there are still some risks.
Obstacle  05:21.3  Scientists find a unusual spider feeds on plant and they are trying to find the mutually beneficial arrangement of spider and ant. Spiders eat plant and ant larvae that would provide microbes to help digest plant

reindeer’s saliva can smack down the production of a plant toxin.

in order to prevent the plants from being eaten, a fungus on the plant could produce toxin.

but if reindeer or moose have spit saliva on the plant, the toxin production reduces.

scientists don’t know why, but they know one thing for sure “salivary secretions can be more important than previously thought."

Obstacle

spiders feed on plants
very few, one of them B k,
tree, antes, however spider against
get noticed until the feeding habits was found
Meehan, spiders eat vegetable rather than ants
digestion, less nutrient, why?
might start from eating larvae that feeds on plant body
still traditional hunting behavior
social to individual, still in group
go to source instead of the resource of ant larvae
really important!

Animals eat toxic plant in order to prevent plants from producing toxic chemicals
Fungus interarct with animals so that animals are able to eat plant without losing limbs
The discovery is unsolved, but we know the salivary(唾液的) secretion is more important than thought

Obstacle: 5'01''
Scientists found that spiders may feed on plants instead of live prey.
This behavior researched by may reflect cooperation and interaction with neighbors.

T2 2'51'' what is mutualism- a type of symbiosis i.e. bacteria and U; play key part in ecology & improve bio diversity; closeness to measure degree of M
T3 3'37'' a kind of tree M with Ant A, fail to choose right Ant, Ant B aragon, cause themselves decline
T4 1'33'' herbviroes important to this system, without herbiv the tree diminish and so do ants
T5 2'31'' fungi's benefit  *plant recruit microbes* 1.grass 2. tomato can grow in hotter place
T6 2‘15’‘ right F from right place, drawbacks
T7 8‘28’‘ Vege spider BK, Mutualism in ant and tree; reason BK eat B, nectar and larva of tree,

T2 2:26
Use examples to describe what is the mutualism and the importance of it.

T3 2:14
A new finding: trees do not borrow.
How demonstrate this finding and what scientists found.
The conclusion: shortsighted decision of trees.

T4 1:50
application of this phenomenon.
leads to extinction.
importance of plants.

T5
a new way to boost production.
evidence: already know & lab experiment
another advantage.

T6 1:44
new finding: the microbe and plant must match.
some drawbacks.
difficulties.

Obstacle: 6:35
finding of a kind of mutualism.
the process of finding.
Why happened? eat ant larvae.
why inhabit close?
the arrangement is not sustainable.
further research.

Speak:
reindeer eat toxin plant desirable. saliva prevent production of toxin. The slick finding?
plant defense to be eaten, like fungs churn out大量制造 a toxin, which stop blood flow->loss of limbs
battle X. drool口水 decrease production
saliva interfere chemical signals of toxin production
salivary secretion of large mammals +imp> bf known

Vegi never think spider can be vegi
BM plants& ants
spider Vplant Xants
1896 1st found
2001 found this strange behavior
M surreal
also eat ants nects & larvae幼虫  plant Xnutrition why?
bacterial help?
traditional hunting->plant change
spider interaction
others hav cooperation, but this no need n still live close due to the resource
plant OK to be eaten
extrodinary like flying pigs

Mutualism is type of symbiosis. The term refers to the relationship that one species live within another and they both benefit from each other. Mutualism has been given less attention in the previous time.
time3 3'00
Researchers about the inerdependence between the acacia tree and its mutualism ones suah as the ants. By seperation from the elephants and other acacia-eaters, the trees are thretened by the ants.
time4 1'12
time5+6 4'30
To increase the productivity of plants, scientists are trying to use the effect of mutualism of microbe and plants instead of genetical engineering tech. The experiments have discover that many fungus and microbes are responsible for the increase of productivity . However ,some reseachers also point out that the microbes can create diseases which can spread to livestocks.

scientists find a kind of herbivorous spider.
the two scientists discovered the spider separately and decided to study it.
this spider was first developed by eating a kind of ant, which eats plant. gradually, the spider goes to the source and directly eat the plant.
although the spiders eat plant and they do not need to co-operate with each other to prey on other insects, they still live together.
studying the spider will illuminate a new species
