google了一下，by curiosity,by+无定冠词的名词，表原因。而by the kind of curiosity没有查到。

我试着翻译一下。

chimpanzees exhibit the kind of curiosity by which new patterns of behavior and expression can be passed on from one to another by imitation and practice.

猩猩显出某种好奇，因为好奇他们可以把新的行为和表达通过模仿和实践相互传递。

这样的话我感觉这句话用两个by,很勉强。如果有so that的选项没有其他错误是不是应该优选他们？
