Hey, inseadsh, just curious: what differentiate ML from GS and MS?

bolei, just curious, what's your occupation and who you are working for?  It sounds so mysterious.

BTW, which yr did you graduate from Insead?

I think the target audience of MBA info session is exactly prospective candidates.  As long as you are in, why you still need to care about a presentation aiming to solve "who the B-school want" question?

You have said that in you previous post.

"We have just 2 weeks left before the end of P1."

exactly.  Inseadsh, you must be too busy to remember what you have said in the forum.  ^_^

I think R2 & R3 has no big difference in terms of headcounts for Chinese admits.   Avoid R4.    Though I know there are people get admitted for the incoming Jan. Class.  Even if you are lucky to get a position, you might not be able to select the campus you'd like to begin with.

Regarding to the Toefl, I'm not quite sure here.  It's always good to meet the deadlines for such kind of not so critical stuffs, right?   If it's unavoidable, explain that to the Adcom and self-report.   Per my experience, Adcom might let you stay in line (I had a technical problem submitting my essays 1 hour to the deadline.  I wrote to technical support, and they fixed the problem 3 days later, and they still counted me in that round).      But chances are: if you were in a competitive pool that round, it might pose yourself in a relatively poor situation.

Good luck!

Hahaha, Simba...but you also help answer lots of questions in these posts here!

And I assume Inseadsh might change the question to: any idea regarding to Czech and Austria?      Visa for Turkey and Cyprus is a little bit complicated than we expected.

Also, I think bolei's example of successful is a little bit intimidating...  :-)

Good luck.

It seems you guys are really having a great time there

since inseadsh started it, i'm going to start asking questions.

to answer mugi and tupo clearer, i'm based in Shanghai and travel around China on a regular basis due to the nature of my work.

now, my work involves a lot with entrepreneurs and to a lesser degree, VCs.  if you people know of good entrepreneurs, please let me know.  entrepreneurs can be people starting their businesses (and there are a lot of people doing that right now, but not everyone is a good entrepreneur) or have been successful (Focusmedia, Fosun for example).

thanks.

Bolei, just curious, how come NGO will be interested in VCs?  What's the angle when a NGO is dealing with VC?

And what kind of enterpreneur are you looking at?  As an investment professional, I do come across with some enterpreneurs during my daily work. Just curious why you would like to know them.

Are you trying to switch into VC?
