DE没有much啊！而且去掉much不改变句意么？
如果E对，D为什么不对？

首先看句意，能表达清楚句子意思的就是好句子。这也正是新SC的要求。

这道题难就难在renderings，注意这里是renderings不是rendering因此它是个名词而不是现在分词。

所以B的前半句having不能和renderings对应。

E：as well known for ... as for ...就是说因。。。和因。。。一样有名，这能表达意思的。

D：的错误同B，having和renderings不能对应

蔚蓝mm还要继续体会sc阿

添加删除词不是作为排除答案的第一步。不能看到没有much就先排除了！~

D是FOR...FOR的平行对称～

问题是,如果(D) 中的 skillfully rendered 作为 popular public figures in wax 的定语, 那么前后两个having 就会平行了? 这样理解对吗?

B错在没有平行对称，having an eccentric personality 是现在分词结构，而 skillful wax renderings 是名词结构，而正确选项E的 personality and rendering 都是名词结构，
D 中的 as well known for ...as ,第二个as 缺少 for ，而且 for 后面的分词结构没有正确选项的名词结构更准确，简洁
