27. Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? People should sometimes do things that they do not enjoy doing. Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer.

Nowadays , some people are only willing to do things that they like , but refuse to accept the task without interest . It’s may be one’s own way to enjoy life . In my part , I would strongly hold the view that people should sometimes do the things that they do not enjoy doing.

As an old saying goes, life is not all beer and skittles .People always meet some tough things obviously unenjoyable but necessary .Take one’s whole life as an instance . As young as a student ,a boy is required to do lots of difficult homework no matter how eagerly he wants to play outside .When grow older , having escaped from the restriction of school , he is still not able to just watch TV or do his favourite sports but to work hard as an engineer or doctor in order to afford his family .Even as an old man , he may find himself being responsible for the education of his grandsons .We can’t avoid doing all the things we don’t like according to our duties and commitment to society and our family .

On the other hand , most experiences in our lives that seemed difficult at the time become valuable lessons for the future . We always hate doing something boring or arduous ,since we ignore a fact that adversity often leads to prosperity .Difficulties can teach us not only courage but also patience , both of which are indispensable ingredients contributing to our success .

Since we are not able to escape from the real life consisting of enjoyment and difficulties ,from which we benefit a lot , why not try to do things we don’t like doing? It’s just a part of life .
