意思就是，Quasars现在所呈现在我们面前的样子，就和数十亿年前它所呈现在我们面前的样子一样。所以，ETS说，这句的意思是，你在数十亿年前就看到这个quasars，而数十亿年后你再看到它们，它们看来还是一个样子。（有人可以活数十亿年吗？所以不合理）

道理好象是懂了，可是就是不明白怎么样才能理解成actu gg 和 leeon gg们所理解的那样！好像总是似懂非懂！

把did所替代的动词appear代进去，就好理解了。我也是按中文习惯理解成“他们呈现给我们的是他们在形成初期的样子”，而不是英文的习惯”他们现在呈现在我们的就象他们在宇宙形成时呈现给我们的一样”，也就是说，没有充分理解这个did
