请问（1）C选项为什么THE要省略，是因为printers吗，如果前面后面都有THE可不可以呢，即将C改为is a process leaving the editors, rather than the printers, to assemble？？？

（2）D选项中为什么which要改成 that？？如果在which 前面加上逗号是不是就可以了呢？？？即改成refers to a

process    ，which allows editors这样是不是就符合语法规则了呢？？

还有一个问题，谁能告诉我这句话的意思是什么呢

这里不需要特指阿

改了之后变成非限制性定语从句，对process作补充说明，从信息联系角度看，没有原句紧密。

解释里which should be that，也不太懂。句中先行词没有序数词，only之类的词，which和that应该可以互换丫。是不是GMAT更倾向于that？！

也许是不需要特指，我在字典看到的例句都是the editor of xxxx.

至于是非限制性定语从句还是限制性定语从句的取舍大家还是看看语法书。这种东西是只能意会不可言传。

有种好的方法是把which这个从句去掉不读，看句意改变没有。因为which从句不影响整个句子的意思，是对先行词的解释。

而that是对先行词的限制，不能去。好好体会
