UNC Kenan-Flagler students have chosen to concentrate in a variety of fields as undergraduate students, and we welcome applications from students who have majored in nonbusiness fields. To prepare for the quantitative dimension of the MBA Program, we strongly recommend that all enrolling students have some background in calculus, microeconomics, statistics and financial accounting. If you have not studied these subjects in college or a university, please explain how you have demonstrated proficiency in these areas. If you have not had exposure to these subjects, please let us know your plan for preparing yourself for UNC Kenan-Flagler. (one page maximum)

我的问题是，我学过他提到的所有课程，但是凑巧成绩都不怎么好。根据adcom，如果这些课程的成绩是A或B就没有问题，而我的成绩是C。那我该怎么利用这篇essay解释我这些课程的问题呢？谢过！

You can explain even C is a good score in your class, or how you demonstrated these skills in your work. And maybe tell them you're taking some courses right now in local college.

谢谢chipmunk，我们学校的老师是属于那种比较变态的，上面像高数，统计这些课我们班有30％的人都没及格，能得到85分以上的那就是天才了。但是如果我这么解释adcom会相信吗，怎么就这么凑巧刚好这些课程统统都不好。而我工作中接触的数学那是连小学生都会的，我唯一做的还算高级点的就是要进行数据分析，那也用不到什么高数。看样子只有走最后一条路了，那我现在没有在学这些课程，万一到时候adcom心血来潮说那你把你现在上课的成绩给我们看看，我不就傻了。

我觉得最好列举一下班上的成绩比例，比如这些课程你在TOP20％里，但总的分数都偏低。这样学校应该能够理解的。但要讲你现在正在学，有些风险。如果你已经工作了的话，除非在上研究生（比如自考那种），否则不太合情理，尤其是这些东西明显和你的工作没有关系的话。
你还可以说你已经有计划要在上学前再好好自学那些课程，这很有说服力。而且，我自己也打算真的在上学前再学一下微积分（如果拿到OFFER的话），要不到时候自己会很痛苦的。
