The CitiAssist Loan from Citibank is a sensible borrowing solution that can help meet your educational funding needs while you invest in your education. The application period for the 2005-2006 academic year begins July 2005. Benefits of the CitiAssist Loan include:
All graduate students attending Michigan's Ross School of Business are eligible. U.S Citizens can complete either paper application or website application at http://www.CitiAssist.com. U.S. Permanent Residents are required to complete the paper application only and submit a copy of the INS Form 1-551 or I-94 (front and back). International students are required to complete the paper application only and submit a copy of INS documentation. Acceptable INS documentation includes one of the following:
Student's copy of a school certified I-20 form with admission number (I-20 must be signed by the school and stamped by the INS). If admission number is not present, a copy of an I-94 is also required, or- A school certified I-20P form and I-94 (I-20 must be signed by the school and stamped by the
INS), AND I-94, or - A valid I-94 (issued within the past year)*, or
- A valid passport and your visa * (The expiration date must meet or exceed
projected graduation date on both documents), or - A valid IAP-66 and your J1 visa or a valid I-94
Please note: Your loan will not be disbursed until Citibank receives a completed application and a copy of the required documentation. * Acceptable visa status: F1, F2, J1, J2, E1, E2, G1, G2, G3, G4, H1, H1B, H2, H3, H4, I, L1, L2, TCI and TN – No Co-Signer Required No Co-signer is required for domestic or international students – No payments while in school No payments are due while in school or during the six month grace period. However, you always have the option of paying
interest and principal, without penalty, to help lower your monthly payment once you graduate.
