I'd worked for one local security corp for 4 years and now I work for one local banking corp, till fall 2007 I will have 5 years of W/E, all in financial sectors. I was graduated from Xi'an JiaoTong Univ. and got my Bachelors degree of Economics. Currently and in the forseenable future, I suppose myself will have no W/E overseas. My stats are G700 4.5 and T257 4.5, which are below the average of CD MBA applicants, esp for those who apply for US top 10. I'm interested in financial field and will apply for schools which have good finance focused curriculums and, the most important, which would help me land a finance job in NYC/Chicago/Boston/LA/London/HK, so called financial center. With oversea W/E for some year, I would like to go back ShangHai, China and still work for financial service corps. So here comes my school pool: Chicago/Columbia/NYU/Rochester/UW-Madison/LBS/HKUST. My questions are: Are all the schools in list suitable for my plan? Any school not in the list will help me? Should I shoose some upper 2nd-tier school, of coz finance focused, in my pool?
Your background seems great. Wharton should be included in your list, Focus on top 10 to 15, and work hard on your essays and interviews, Why UW-Madison? you want to do real estate finance? |
