Smarttj is right. East lansing is a small town even though Lansing is the capital of Michigan. But as the first year student, I really have no time to have fun. On average, I can only sleep 5 hours per day and still have a lot to be done.
OK, return to the original topic. MSU interview is very common. Your interviewer may be an admission staff or the 2nd year MBA student major in HR. You may prepare to answer those common questions such as why MBA, why MSU, etc. It will be very conversational and informal. So just relax and be yourself. If you don't hear the question clearly, do let the interviwer say it again. After the interview, remember to send a thank-you email.
A few tips based on my interview experiences last year (not limited to MSU): 1. don't try to write down the answer in advance. 2. be prepared with some questions you never meet. I was told to discuss the change in Shanghai as that interviewer visited Shanghai two years ago. 3. If you use IP card, make sure you have enough money in the card.
Please understand I can only give some general advice if they are, but can't give the detailed questions of my interview last year as I consider it unfair to other applicants. |
