This year, one Chinese got intern offer from a hospital in U.S.(He was from 中信泰富) But H1B requirement is a problem unless you have very strong Health Care related background. If you have no previous background but just want to shift into this industry, competition is hot and you really have to work your ass off to show that U.S. health care needs you. Eli Lilly and J&J both have international program though and they both come to Duke this year. The other big companies are Genetech, Boston Scientific, Amgen, Mead Johnson and other companies from west coast.
