I am 35 and working as a FP&A manager in a Fortune 500 U.S company in Tokyo. I plan to go to LBS MIF program next year and hope to be able to get into I-bank doing corporate financial advisory service type of job through going to LBS. However, considering my age, I wonder how much change will I have to get into I-bank?
Followings are my background:
4 years working experience, 1 year in a top consulting firm and 3 years in corporate finance at industry. Have a MBA from a non-top U.S business school right after college. Also I have U.S CPA. CMA and CFM.
If the change is very dim, it might not be a good idea to go to the LBS. Honestly, if I stay with industry, and my current credentials probably are enough. Any advice or thoughts? |
