well, it really depends on the school - program setups can be quite different. That said, international EMBA is MUCH harder to do just because the time committment.
As far as I know, you must be employed during EMBA (which is different from FT or even some PT programs). This is because you must be sponsored by your employers. If not financially, at least your company has to allow you to take time off from work.
EMBA is PT only. And it is almost impossible for international students. EMBA students usually attend the class during the weekend. And the purpose of EMBA is mainly for people to network in their own level. As you might know, many of them are already executives.
