twE175, 请大N们出招指点

175 Some students like classes where teachers lecture (do all of the talking) in class. Other students prefer classes where the students do some of the talking. Which type of class do you prefer? Give specific reasons and details to support your choice.

There are some students who like the classes that the teachers give the lecture by talking continually, however other students prefer the class that they can talk in the process. People hold diverse opinions to the problem due to their respective angles and personal concerns. From my point of view, I believe that the class that student can express themselves is more advisable. My preference will be substantiated in the following discussion.

The essential factor that deserves our consideration is that the students can grasp the knowledge more deeply within the classroom where they can show their considerations on the lectures freely. Otherwise the student may leave some questions or confusions in their minds. If the students confronting the problem could express the question to the teacher, they will get the instruction from the teacher immediately. That will extremely help the student to comprehend every knowledge point and pave the way to the later study. Otherwise, in the class where the students could not say what they want, they will have to accumulate the confusions in their minds, thus setting up the barrier and loosing their interesting in the subject. It can be given a concrete example, when I was a middle school student, I always escape from exploring the problems which I did not really understand because of shyness. Therefore in the final test, I found I was wholly lost.

Another point with the equal significance is that the student can learn from their peers during the arguing or just hearing other’s talking. As we all know, different people have their distinct methods for the same questions. listening the speaking of other student, we can follow the track and reach various viewpoints, which will correct our drawbacks , enrich our consideration and mature our thoughts. When facing the precious chances to study, should we let them go?

An additional reason in support of my inclination is that the talking class provide the student suitable circumstance to foster their communication skills and interpersonal abilities by which they can give the perfect presentation before public. Learning how to express, how to argue and how to intercommunicate will lay a solid base for their future career.

Admittedly, some people think that talking in the class will waste the time or disturb the lecture frequently. As we all know, the more fundamental factor is that the students can understand the content of the lecture, as well as achieving the precious abilities they will support their future career but not the class timetable. When all the points are compared carefully, therefore we can safely get the conclusion which is self-evident.

The factors mentioned above weave into an organic whole and thus be more convincible. The merits of discussion in the class will definitely contribute the further development and also lead to my original propensity.

This paragraph seems a little bit redundant. Maybe you can put your idea in a more concise style:

The essential factor that deserves our consideration is that  students can grasp the knowledge more deeply within the classroom where they can express their ideas freely. Whenever students confront problems, they may refer them to teachers and obtain instruction immediately. That way, students are able to comprehend every knowledge point and pave the way to the later study. Otherwise, in the class where the students could not say what they want, confusions will probably accumulate in their minds, set up barriers and deprive students of interests in their study.

改了一遍,再给看看

我从头到尾改了一遍,请再给看看。

Whenever students confront problems, they may refer them to teachers and obtain instruction immediately. That way, students are able to comprehend every knowledge point and pave the way to the later study. Moreover, the students can try to explore their own methods and depict them out, which will cultivate their abilities to think independently. Otherwise, in the class where the students could not say what they want, confusions will probably accumulate in their minds, set up barriers and deprive students of interests in their studies.

Another point with the equal significance is that the student can learn from their peers during the arguing even just hearing other’s talking. Furthermore, the strongpoint of other’s will correct listeners’ drawbacks, enrich their consideration and mature their thoughts. When facing the precious chances to study, who would let them go?

An additional reason in support of my inclination is that the talking classes provide students favorable circumstance to foster their communication skills and interpersonal abilities because they could have more chances to represent themselves before public. The talents about how to express, how to argue and how to intercommunicate will lay a solid base for students’ future careers.

Admittedly, some people think that talking in the class will waste the time or frequently disturb the lecture. As a matter of fact, the more fundamental point is how the students can understand the content of the lecture and achieve the valuable abilities to support their future careers but not the class timetable. When all the aspects are compared carefully, therefore, the conclusion is safely self-evident.

多谢PENGSTONE

多谢pengstone, 我自己再改改.

另外“PRESENT ”和“REPRESENT”具体怎么用法?从意思上看不出来太大区别

这句“the strongpoint of other’s will correct listeners’ drawbacks(mistakes), ”改为“ the strongpoint of other’s will remedy listeners’ drawbacks,”如何?
