NTU MFE VS EDHEC RAM??

got offer from both programs, now in big delimma.

did some research but still not able to come to the conclusion...

the thing i have to worry about EDHEC is the living expense--i dont think i have enough money for both tuition fee and living expense, so anyone knows that whether it is easy to work part time in Nice and finance myself? And i am also worried that I cannot get good placement after graduated from this school.

NTU MFE might be easier as I can get tuition loan from the local bank, I have job and  my own flat in Singapore; but i really want to get out of Singapore for a while, too bored.

any suggestions? thanks~~~

首先,尤其是近两年,不会法语找实习会很困难,另外,不要对学校的CAREER CENTER抱太大希望,基本上还是得靠你自己,这个是我们这届过来以后和来之前,给我们反差最大的一个东西,当然和大环境还是脱不了干系的...实话实说,如果前几届的师兄师姐们不同意,可以来说,但是我觉得你过来的就业情势,参考系数最大的还是我们这一届.

其次,虽然你觉得新加坡BORING,但我想象不出亚洲之外还有其他地方比亚洲还有丰富业余生活的国家,何况还只是法国这个国度...你出来了就知道原来新加坡才是天堂.

至于课程难度,我们这届有2,3个NTU本科过来读硕士的学生,还是一级荣誉学士级别的,他们说NTU的MFE难度还要高一些,但是就业肯定要好许多.这个不用想也都知道,新加坡是伦敦金融城全球金融中心TOP10...而且又是英语环境...

单从就业环境讲,我觉得NTU好一些,但是我是RAM的,今年有中国学生拿到OFFER和面试也都是和RAM的牌子直接有关系的,另外大摩今年也注资EDHEC的风险研究中心,虽然这个和我们学生没有什么关系,但是我想从长远来看,对REPUTATION这个东西会很有用.另外,欧洲搞风管和HEDGE FUND的内行人,是绝对挺EDHEC的,我们学校强就强在这里,在这方面有的一拼的我感觉就是ETHZ的MAS IN FINANCE了,我绝对没有一点点夸大.

我只能点到这里,其他东西,你自己考虑.

thank you very much for your sincere advices, however i still cannot figure out which one i should go, sigh the bad thing is i had payed the 1500 EURO to EDHEC already then I go the offer from NTU.

i know singapore is a good place for work and in fact i will go back to work in singapore after graduated, but i would like to leave it for a while. now i am not sure which one will be better for me to secure a job in singapore -- just read quite a number of bad comments about NTU MFE program. zack_wong, do you mind to tell me a bit more about edhec ram? do you mind to add my msn? (meimei1203(A) hotmail.com), i really want to learn some more about edhec from insiders coz it will be a very big investment for me. thanks.

如果你想secure 一个在新加坡的future job的话，我觉得Edhec的作用不大，其在亚洲知名度有限，无论什么专业。不过你在新加坡，应该对NTU的就业形式有很直接的了解了。
