AI031,issue,让我担心让我忧;附加AA006

我唯一一篇突破400字大关的Issue,因为我把时间记错了,多算了5分钟

It is always a controversial topic that whether financial gain should be the most important factor in choosing a career. While most people deem that without material foundation, individual cannot live in the realistic world, I think that it is too far to say that the financial gain should be the most important factor in choosing a career. I agree with that financial gain is important factor in choosing a career because people need money to provide the lives of their families, but people should not just have a commitment to dreary love of materials.

Expect money, there are many other factors that are more significant to our lives. For example, family, as the center of most people’s lives, should not be ignored when people select careers. Though some jobs can provide decent wage and salary, some of them required employees to spent almost whole day in office and leave little time for personal affairs. Spending most time in workplace means that the employees must sacrifice the time that should be shared with the whole family. Under such situation, even if these jobs can bring out the desired financial gain to the employees, the financial gain cannot bring mental-well to the employees and their families.

Moreover, though money is something necessary to our lives, it cannot rival the physical health for the importance. In some cases, financial gain means a high risk. For example, working for a white lead factory may grant good payment to employees, but such work also brings some unexpected consequences to them. The employees working for white lead factory may often suffer from some serious ills triggered by heavy metals. When choosing a career, the considerations of healthy must be placed in the first rank.

Last but not the least, I deem that people should choose their favor jobs. People not only crop money but also gain happy, self-esteem and reputation from jobs. If one finds that he or she can get nothing but money, the one’s morale and passion might be eroded by the dreary life and go with the lapsing time. So, I suggest that people should choose a job consistent with their interests although financial gain is also an important factor that should be pondered.

In conclusion, it is too extremely to say the financial gain should be the most important factor in choosing a career. People cannot live without money, but people should not live merely for money. Besides money there are so many other things valuable that should be cherished by each individual.

  我现在就是见到一个JJissue就写一个,临阵磨枪把。

In this argument, the author claims that corporations should look to the city of Helios when seeking new business opportunities or a new location. To strengthen the claim, the author cited the evidence that Helios’s unemployment rate was lower than the regional average. Providing the factor that Helios is the industry center of the region and historically provided more than its share of the region’s manufacturing, the author emphasis that Helios is attempting to expand its economic base by attracting companies that focus on research and development of innovative technologies. This is argument is problematic in several respects.

First, the author assumes that the healthy local economic conditions alone have caused the Helio’s low unemployment rate. While the assumption is reasonable, this is not certainty in this case. It is possible that the shortage of labors is the primary cause leading to the low unemployment rate. If so, the evidence cited by the author not only cannot prove that Helio has a health economic environment but also demonstrates that the labor cost may be higher in helio than that in other cities. To justify the argument, the author must offer a thorough analysis of the causes of low unemployment rate in Helio.

Second, another assumption in this argument is that in Helio the economic trend cited by the author will continue in the foreseeable future. However, no evidence is offered that this is the case. Perhaps, the recession affecting the entire region in which Helio is located will worsen. If so, a more serious depression might strike the economy of the city of Helio and thus it is hard to say that Helio is an ideal city for investment. Or perhaps, after an election, an inept person has occupied the position of Helio’s major. If so, the economic conditions of Helio might degrade in the future. Because the author ignored aforementioned possibilities, the recommendation in the argument is not convincing and persuasive.

Third, the common senses tell me that the business is often affected by a combination of factors. In this argument, while the author mentioned some simple information about the Helio, but it is too far to say that the information supplied by author is sufficient. Other factors that may contribute to business such as the condition of traffic system, the local culture, and the natural environment are not mentioned in above argument. Unless the author provides more detailer information that the general environment of Helio is certainly suitable for investment, the recommendation in this argument is unacceptable and questionable.

In sum, the argument is not very sound. To substantiate the argument, the author would have to provide more reliable statistics to prove that Helio own the factors that are necessary to a successful business and the good economic trend in Helio will last in the foreseeable future.
