A19. “Progress depends on those who refuse to conform and who actively resist the status quo.”
Discuss the extent to which you agree or disagree with the opinion stated above. Support your views with reasons and/or examples from your own experience, observations, or reading.
1一个安于现状的人是不可能提供什么有助于改进的措施或者建议的。因为它对现状已经很满意没有动力也没有必要去作出改变也就不可能有改进和提高。
2一个对现状一味不满resist的人同样不能改进现状。这种人只是偾事嫉俗却没有什么建设性的意见只是抱怨于事无补。
3只有能够使自己不断地适应现状并且在发现问题的时候可以主动地去发现问题和不当的地方并提供改正意见的人才是progress的创造者。

my point is that:

progress depends on: 1: refusing to conform. such as refusing to conform the social dogmas

2: actively resisting the status quo. actively resisting means a kind od flexibility.

3 effectively use both of them can make progress.
