“Homes built in this country last year were an average of 20 percent larger than those built just 10 years ago. At the same time, carpet manufacturers had greater overall profits than in any previous year. To meet the demand for home carpet-cleaning services and improve our own profitability, we should take out a loan to buy an additional truck for our fleet.”

且，利润的增加不一定是Homes built 带来的。。。

Ungrounded assumption that the owners of newly-build house will buy carpet.

Gratuitous assumption that Carpet manu's profit come from the increased sales.

Baseless assumption that TRCC's current service ability cannot satisfy the new demand.  

1)gratuitous assumption-Homes built larger than those built just 10 years ago does not guarantee more carpet consumption-most people build new home choose wooden floor rather than carpet;

2)carpet manufacturers had greater overall profits does not guarantee the greater profits in carpet cleaning services-technologies make carpet production with lower cost and high quality possible,but little room for improving carpet cleaning services and the profitability remains relatively constant; 

3)should take out a loan to buy an additional truck for our fleet-currently half of trucks are usually not in use,there is no need to buy another truck even if the demand for service increase.
