In recent work, Abramowicz has shown that added gravitational effects due to general relativity may alter the expected Newtonian gravitational relationships in such a way that the disk remains stable, indicating that it is possible that these predicted instabilities do not occur.


这是第四段的一句话。根据意思,该段说的是本来以为(it had assumed that)存在不稳定性,但是最近A的理论说明了广义相对论的引力效应将可能改变N引力关系gravitational effects due to general relativity may alter the expected Newtonian gravitational relationships in such a way that the disk remains stable


我的问题是:既然A的理论否定了instability的存在,那么in such a way that the disk remains stable应当是A的观点,而不是N理论的观点。gravitational effects due to general relativity may alter the expected Newtonian gravitational relationships in such a way that A considers the disk remains stable (这样就是A认为是稳定的)


可是,我怎么都觉得是:gravitational effects due to general relativity may alter the expected Newtonian gravitational relationships in such a way that N relationships consider the disk remains stable(这样A改变了N理论认为的稳定,不就认为其不稳定了吗??)

为什么在这句话中in such a way that不是修饰N gravitational relationships??

应当是的。我错了2个。在Science方面的文章偶还是很少犯错误的。

weiyu gg,偶今天在看了这篇文章, 这句话的意思应该是你第一个解释,IN SUCH A WAY是状语呀,怎么会做后置定语呢?偶觉得IN SUCH A WAY是修饰ALTER的,意思是从这个角度改变了。。。,你觉得呢?

due to general relativity=the gravitational effects are made by general relativity

This person says that if you add gravitational effects (made by general relativity). The effects will alter the Newtonian gravitational relationships so that the disk is stable.
