这一题我不会选，就猜了一个D，当时是想，邀请妇女是为了在总统大选中赢得妇女的忠诚，而那时妇女还没有投票权（第一段说的），就通过让妇女影响男人的投票选择来影响大选。

而且不知道E中的enhance对应哪一词，是transcended吗

我对这个and conferred moral standing on the party.似乎和答案里的enhance有一定差距。也不能理解，

谁能解释一下呢，

还有D为什么不能呢，妇女影响了men 的行为，我觉得挺对的啊，为什么是无关呢
