好象是D吧

hourly wages ＝total sum per year /(number*hours)

而Y公司sum更大、number相等，所以只有hours也一样，才能得到Y公司hours wages更多

我选D  其实题目问的是hourly wages must be higher, on
average, at Yorco than at Zortech支持这个结论的理由

D排除了他因 即Z的加班率如果大于Y 则Y的hourly wages 不一定比较高

E 最高的pay 和 average hourly wages 无关

我选B。题干已经表明，Y和Z雇的钟点工人数一样，但每年付给这些工人的工资总数要比Z高得多，所以推出每小时的工资是Y高，填空部分要求给出一个解释。显然，B更合理的解释了结论。

D说的是两者的共性，显然不对。E不如B好，最高工资不能说明平均工资。

我先也是选的B,但是后来仔细的看了看D,觉得应该是D.

因为,文中说,两公司的人员数量一样,但是Y公司每年付的总工资数比Z公司多,===>推出Y公司的单位时间工资比Z公司高.这样我们需要两个条件,一是人数一样(文中已经说明),二是工作时间相同,这正是D所说的(D排除了加班时间的可能,这样保证了工作时间的一致).

所以是D.

In B, there is no connection between "higher level of skill" and "higher wages". So B doesn't support anything.

D clearly states a situation that may lead to higher wages.
