1） 对本题的答案倒没有疑问，只是迷惑ETS为什么把B和C选项中的语法写得很滥，两个选项分号前面部分如果放在SC中部分，肯定是错的，请大家帮忙改一下。

2） 正确答案C中，that prediction 在句中只能指predicts的宾语，即第一部分boldface，而实际上the second 是支持however后面的而不是 the first portion in boldface.
