还是阅读的问题。because引导从句，前面只能跟be 动词，不可能接do 或其他实义动词；只能是 IS not because ... 不可能是DO not because，除非because 是动词。

这个句子是否还省了一个定语从句呢，Many more women than men who want ..........应该是Many more women who want ... than  men who want..........，这样句子就更清楚了
