The burden of maintaining the U.S. highway system falls disproportionately on the trucking industry. Trucks represent only about 10 percent of the vehicles on U.S. roads. Yet road use taxes assessed on trucks amount to almost half the taxes paid for highway upkeep and repair.

怎么会是选B呢?我相反觉得B是STRENGTH原文结论的,因为原文说TRUCK占10%却付50%的税,那B中说的"因为他们引起了超过50%的DAMAGE".

原文的意思是觉得卡车出的钱太多了.


The burden of maintaining the U.S. highway system falls disproportionately on the trucking industry


这是原文的结论,后面说,卡车出的钱和卡车数量不成比例。后面都是EVIDENCE 来SUPPORT 这个结论的。车少,出钱多.


要WEAKEN就是WEAKEN这个结论,卡车虽然少,造成的破坏大,所以出的钱就应该和车辆不成比例。
