Some airlines allegedly reduce fares on certain routes to a level at which they lose money, in order to drive competitors off those routes. 我的理解如下:

价格战长期来说是不能盈利的。因为在打败旧得的竞争对手后,企业一定会提价来弥补价格战的损失,这样导致新的竞争对手有机可乘同样利用价格战来击败自己。

问削弱

b选项说Airline executives generally believe that a company that once underpriced its fares to drive away competitors is very likely to do so again if new competitors emerge.也就是出现新的竞争者时候他们会同样使用价格战来打击新手,而不是光追求弥补以前的损失,这样的话就不会给新的竞争对手留下打击的机会。所以削弱了结论,长期不可能盈利。

d) On deciding to stop serving particular routes, most airlines shift resources to other routes rather than reduce the size of their operations. 是说决定停止一些航线后,大部分航空公司把资源转移到其他航线而不是减少它们运营的规模。这和结论没有必然联系,属于无关选项所以不能削弱。

b的意思也是长期不能赢利.不是加强了结论吗?怎么会是削弱呢?

这题问的挺多,散在各处。

题目的结论到底是什么?应该是航空公司不能盈利吧。涨价会引来对手用来支持主结论。E说了客人增多但没说一定会降低成本,有点弱,不然绝对比B强。B在主结论是“涨价会引来对手杀价”时会相对好些。难道最后那句是结论?

这种用主观想法作为正确答案的比较少。尽管PREP有官方答案,希望NN也能出来解解疑。
