A为什么不对？？A的含义是不是说，过去的5年内建设了很多PLANTS
这样难道不能WEAKEN吗？因为如果HEALTH OFFICIAL 说的对，过去5年都应该有显著下降才是

A 是无关选项, 题目的结论是肠疾病的减少是因为水干净了. 与水的质量有关, 与水的数量无关. 而A选项只强调了数量, 对结论不影响.

C是他因削弱.

water-treatment plants让水更干净了
过去5年建设了很多water-treatment plants，那过去5年水就应该干净了啊
不应该等到今年才有效果。所以是削弱

对不起, 题目看错了.

A 应该是支持才对. 过去5年建了很多水处理厂, 正好说明了5年来水越来越干净了. 正好支持了结论.

今年比去年得肠疾病的人下降了, 并没有否认5年来一直下降的趋势啊.

A如果理解成支持，似乎也解释不了为什么今年下降的明显，因为题目要说明的不是一个趋势的问题，而是今年比去年显著的下降。

本题应该是反对前提。说前提错。所以削弱

种植plant不是前提吧？只是一种可能的原因，削弱它是可以的。

而且OG中并没有不能削弱前提的说法。

这道题的最佳答案是对比出来的。

我的理解是：与去年相比，今年患病的人数大大下降了。官员们说这是由于水处理厂卫生状况的提高。题目要求削弱，可以有两方面来入手；1，可以说去年与今年水处理厂的卫生状况其实并没有改变，是一样的；或者2，患病人数的减少并不是由于卫生好了（他因法）。

A只是说在五年内建成了好多的新的水处理厂，这并不能起到削弱作用。

而C说由于有了新的检测设备，本来用老机器检测出来是患intestinal disease的病人，现在用新机器测出来结果他们并不是真正患了intestinal disease，而是得了intestinal ulcer，这样一来本该算在intestinal disease里头的人数就少了，从而解释了所谓患intestinal disease病的人数减少的真正原因。

正确答案是C，我没有异议，只是对OG的解释不太感冒：

A选项应该是起不到support的作用呀：文中的关键是official认为是improved sanitary conditions at water-treatment plants在做怪，应该是和water-treatment plants的数量没有任何关系的。
