这题应该不难,答案是E.
但是我觉得A怪怪的,怎么我觉得严格说起来,
A顶多就是支持事实(第一句话),没有weaken第二句话(conclusion)的成分在……

S人口数＞T人口数，故可支持S卖报量＞T卖报量；
但是无法推出S的世界观＜＞＝ T的世界观，
所以我觉得A无法weaken conclusion.

这道题目的确比较经典，曾经还被翻译成中文做为国内MBA联考的题目！！

我觉得主要是对conclusion的理解：

the citizens of town s are better informed about major world events than are the citizens of town t

这里的比较应该是平均数的比较！

如果这样理解的话，a就是一个绝对数和相对数的weaken了！

八戒的意思是town s的人口比t多，说明虽然s卖出的报纸比t多，但平均到每个市民来说未必比t的多。因此消弱了原论断认为s比t的更知道国际时事。（wolrd event不是世界观哦）

举这么一个极端的例子吧：

比如s有10000人口，于是乎，销售了1000份papers

而t有100人口，可是销售了99份papers！

明显，以上例子均满足原前提条件和选项a！
可是，绝对不可以推出结论：
the citizens of town s are better informed about major world events than are the citizens of town t.

can be represented by the following fact:

let ratio a= the number of people who read paper/ the total number of people

a should be larger than other towns.

then we can weaken this conclusion by make the population larger

我的理解：A实际上告诉我们一种WEAKEN的方法，比较的对象应该是相对数字而非绝对数字。类似的比较在OG16里也出现了。
