这道题自己没做出来，请问so指代什么呢?

个人意见

A有两个问题
1）resulting现在分词表伴随或表结果，在这里都说不同。要用分词的话也应该是possibly resulted from...
2）如果把increasing理解成动名次，resulted from后面接的应该是名词性的东西，动名词强调的是动作，感觉不合适；如果理解成形容词修饰temperature，则变成了某现象resulted from temperature，核心在温度上，而句子本意强调的应该是the increase，故也不合适。

B其实我也不喜欢，我觉得A的were suffering from dwindling food supplies挺好的，B改成because怎么招都读着怪。但是相比之下没有其他选项可以选。

同上面标出的B的解释。

it、they指代时，是指exactly前面提到的事物，所以B如果用it，就指指现在用风能产生的energy1，而句子实际要指的是1990年代风能产生的energy2
