两道有争议的GWD题，请大家参与！GWD 7-4何GWD24-20

DE两个其实都没有歧义。

但是从句子意思看，重心在于比较的对象，这是其一，其二，大全和og我都没有见过后面只保留一个动词的。其三，D的charge与前头的charge完全一样，如果在没有歧义的基础上要选择省略的部分，与E比较，应该优先省略charge。

这个例子当时讨论的时候有朋友拿出来说过，但我觉得和本题有所不一样。

这道题首先动词的时态形式不一样（也就导致了动词意义的差别） were killed 和would later be killed ，所以不能省略。第二，主语Americans 泛指，与后面的主语相同，故可以省略。

再看我们现在这道， 主语不同，谓语charge完全一样（我不选D的主要原因，这样的没有见过先例，而且如果动词一墨一样，ets常会用do代替)  强调的重心在主语，从句意E的省略我觉得稍好,E 后面省略与前面一样的charge，无可厚非。

另外，那个讨论帖子上有朋友说，as可作为关代，代替主语，我持怀疑态度，字典上没有说可以as可以做代词。

新东方老师的网络课堂说的有,than和as都可以兼作其后面比较部分的主语。我也见到过这样的例子。

像这边的four times as many Americans were killed as (Americans) would later be killed

但若是比较宾语时, 则需补出主语:

ex: David has half as many records now as I had last year. (这里则省宾语)

争论的焦点在于比较的对象。而且OG187的例子与本题不完全一样
