tocean, i don't agree with u . In this case, worried is used as adj. that means anxious.
If worry is used as verb, we shall state "worry about" eg. Don't worry about the trifles.So no matte how the sentence employes the action happening now or past action, we shall use "worrying " instead of "worried", if worry is consider verb.
In my opinion, "worried" is usually used as adjective to modify a noun and cannot be used to describe a condition on which sb. has done sth.Therefore, "worried" here should be used as an past participle. |
