OG 35 衍生出Sell for的用法疑问?

我想问的是Sell for的主词是物品时  可以用主动吗 以这题为例可以说

The Bridge of Trinquetaille sold for $20.2 million 用主动不用被动吗

因为我查LDOCE看到下面的用法

sell at/for £100/$50/30p etc (=be offered for sale at £100/$50/30p etc) Smoke alarms sell for as little as five pounds.

似乎是  物品sell for钱

所以有疑问   请教大家  谢谢

我查了LDOCE和COLLINS，

用法应该是正确的，但是我觉得意思不一样吧。

sth sell for/at $1，是“以$1的价格出售”的意思；

sth was sold for $1，是“卖了$1”的意思。

所以二者的含义还是有比较大的区别的吧，体会一下：）

sth sell for/at $1，是“以$1的价格出售”的意思，是不是指标出售价$1,卖没卖不一定？

sth was sold for $1，是“卖了$1”的意思。已经卖掉了，收了$1？

我理解的对吗？
