我没从那个角度考虑，你听听我的想法：

A和C的主语都不对，wheat和protein不具有可比性；

D中的rice protein两个愣愣的名词相连，又不是属于关系或者什么特殊词语，明显不对；

E和B比较呢，你能看出差异吧? 缺少了那个that in ,和后面连不上了缺成分了，所以选B.

这道题我也一直很疑惑；说说我的一些看法，请N人指教：

先看划线部分之前In addition to having more protein -than wheat does,这句话的存在必然要求后面主句的主语是rice，

而后面这句话rice has protein of higher quality than that in wheat, with more of the amino acids essential to the human diet.我想它本来的结构应该是the quality of protein in rice is higher than in wheat.但是这个结构不能和划线之前部分对应，所以讲这个句子结构进行了改写，满足rice成为主语，变成了rice has protein of higher quality than that in wheat，比较对象是rice和wheat，比较的是quality of protein，后面的that指代protein ，而rice和wheat只不过用来限制protein，不能看成后面省略主语。

可以这么想： adj.+ n1 than n2 = n1 which be adj. than n2 (be)

但是似乎原来学比较结构的时候，如果在这个句子中，protein in rise和protein in wheat的时候用B结构才正确啊，问题是现在B和E中都是直接用的rice做主语啊，应该是rice has protein和wheat has protein比较啊，难道这个时候也符合原来学习的那个从属名词放前面的规则？不好意思，偶语文学的不够好，只能这么问问^_^

比较结果中，比较的对应部分应该尽可以的保持对称，但是也不用绝对。

这里我觉的更多突出的是比较对象，要概念对等原则

比如A 如果单独的看选项 the protein in rice is higher quality than that in wheat

这没有什么错误。但是放在整句中就和前面的In addition to having more protein -than wheat does 中比较主语不一致了。 所以我觉的更多的是从逻辑的角度把握。

很多NN都说过，ETS的字典里，没有绝对。很多问题都要辨证的看。

一般我们都习惯在平行结构和比较结构中，平行的并列项和比较的对象结构一致。

但是显然，这不是绝对的。OG中就多次出现过结构不一致的例子。

我觉得protein of higher quality要优于a protein higher in quality

1. in quality 会不小心与后面的in wheat平行而造成歧义, 即便不用it来指代protein.

2. protein of higher quality表达准确清晰, higher修饰quality, protein是higher quality的中心词, 所以整个词组译为: 更高质量的蛋白质; a protein higher in quality很awkward, 因为感觉higher可以修饰protein, (a protein higher) in quality, 这种表达的意思肯定不对. 或者a protein (higher in quality), 虽然意思上不错, 但表达的不简洁, 为什么不直接说higher quality, 而要在中间加in呢?

3. 查了longman, 看到quality用的介词都是of, 没有in 的例子.
