For作为表示因果关系的连词的用法：

１，用于正式语体。

２，because的位置灵活，for只能位于主句之后，由逗号隔开：He is absent today, for he is ill.

３，Because 可以回答why问句，for不可以。

４，Because之前可以带并列连词或强调词，for不可以。

５，连词for可以引导一个独立的句子，为上文的情况说明原因或理由。也就是说for可以跟在逗号，分号，句号之后。Because一般不引导单独分句，回答why问句时可以是一个例外。
