逻辑意思很明显，没有必要如此舍本逐末把。

毕竟是现有句子后有语法的吗。意思很清楚，我有必要生拉硬套。我认为此句没什么问题。

此题并没有指代不单一啊,第一个their指代 Defense attorneys

第二个their和接下来的they指代the perpetrators
