 这道题正确选项是C，我错选了B，但是看过前人的讨论此题说正选是B...到现在我还是不知道选什么，不过这不重要了，现在我的问题集中在以下2点

1.B中的助动词是不是一定不可以省？因为省去后是不是引起了宾语和主语比较混淆 
    wild animals have less total fat than livestock

2.C选是不是有比较对象不对等的问题呢？wild animals have less total fat than that of livestock

所以，希望NN们能告诉小弟这是怎么一回事请，主语和宾语的比较怎么个用法??

方便NN们寻找例子，有人用下面一例试图说明C的正确性

此题正选是B，没有问题，此题比较的是一种蛋白质和另一种蛋白质比质量,B选项很清楚。而如果变成rice has more protein than that of wheat...难免让人觉得别扭，是Rice和protein比吗？会引起误会吗？

我找了2本语法书都没有看到相关的解释，现在好急啊！！罗嗦了半天，请NN们能够告诉我到底这种问题怎么解决呢？大家请一定帮帮我啊！

我觉得C是正确的。

首先我没看出这两题有什么区别。OG19就是比较rice和wheat中的protein,这题是比较野生和家畜中的fat.因为是宾语比较，所以应该加上that of,否则就像你说的，会觉得是fat和livestock比较。

对于你的第二个问题，OG中的例子很多，比较对象是fat和that of livestock，对等。没有that of才不对等。不过感觉that in更好点。

A中的that do个人认为也可以。变为主语比较。

但是我也不是很清楚 比如这题可以宾语（两种fat）比较，也可以主语（两种动物）比较

这时候是不是1.要根据逻辑意思判断是哪种比较（虽然此题中两中比较皆可）2.无论是哪种都要等同比较？

我觉得两者的区别我觉得换成简单句如下

I have less fat than that of Mike 

I have a box that is heavier than that of Mike (这里我用that替换了of,两者本质是一样的，这样看比较清晰）

第一句还是会引起混淆，fat和fat比是没有区别的，都是fat，只有我去和Mike比，因为我的fat多？而第第二句就不会出现这种疑问，因为我的box和Mike的box本身有区别的...不知道我这么说goyce能不能理解我...但是我看了BY比较部分所有的60题，无一反例...还望讨论。。

说说我的做题思路：正确答案不一定在语法上一点错误都没有，应该是其他4个选项的错误比这个正确答案的错误要更明显，这个是我做题的原则，也就是选优

B。more of a kind of fat thought to be

thought to be修饰fat，a kind of fat 中kind是中心词，这个你同意吧，more of a kind 中more是中心词，对吧，就是说more of a kind of fat thought to be中，最中心的词应该是more，对不对? 如果你说对，那B就错了，wild animals have less total and more ？！

再看C  wild animals have less total and more fat

我认识，所有的语法知识点都不是死的，就是没有一定对，或一定错的，如果能引起歧义的，就是错的，不会引起歧义的就可以用

在看B：wild animals have less total than livestock fed on grain and more of a kind of fat thought to be ，你认为 livestock是省略了has，但我不认识，我认识是野的和家养的比，所以就出现了歧义，不同的人读这个句子有不同的解释

C：wild animals have less total fat than that of livestock除了是fat和fat of livestock，不会有其他的比较，没歧义，就算没有has，你还是得这么比

选c, 选的时候，先考虑了AND的平行，如果是b, ..... than livestock ( fed on grain ) and  ( more of a kind of fat) 。。。不平行，逻辑也不对

c就比较好，wild animals have less.... than....  and have more.....

个人觉得作题不能太靠死的语法点，以前我也是向lz这样狂比较两个句子差别，可是做题还是错，最近prep语法，有点新感悟，就分享分享，lz也就随便看看吧

平行/比较对象对等，比较结构固定搭配（如as...as , more than) / 主位一致/分词修饰中的逻辑主语和主句主语一致/时态/指代/2个词意思重复 -- 最重要，凡是错，肯定错

接着再看比较中有没有补出主动词，状语位置对不对，句意有没有变化。。。。 这个是排除到只有2个左右，再用的
