答案A，我想问E，E的后面的OF ,OF平行是对的，前面能解释一下吗？

E后面的of也并不平行吧。of heat和of how不平行，A中of heat和of formation才平行。

E前面的问题在于改变了句子的重心，是Earth’s inner core rotates independently of and more quickly than Earth’s outer layers在responsible，而不是core。 E将rotates...改为修饰core的成分，改变了句子的重心和逻辑意思。

2.句意表述这发现要为这先进的研究负责

所以studies
                后面的of…………and of 是对studies修饰

至于其它选项B how子句无法与and the periodic reversal并列

3.E注意犯了sentence fragment: that子句的V不见了,

我当时在A 和 B 之间徘徊了很久。有两点疑问：

1. A中的of the formation 当时觉得有些歧义。可能和 studies of 对称，也可能和 flow of 对称

2. B中的 and the formaiton and periodic reversal当时想是不是省略了一个 and (of) the formaiton....那样and前后就对称了对吗？

如果B中补出了of 是不是就对了？

可是B就算补出了OF，and后面只是一个介宾短语，那么and前面的逗号就不能有，因为有了逗号，大多数（虽然有时候有特例）后面是要跟有主谓的句子的。

A的歧义与否，我觉得还是要根据句意来判断能力吧，flow of the formation and periodical reversal？是很难理解的啊。
