答案是D，没问题

但是这里的beating作伴随动作还是伴随结果？？无论是伴随动作或是伴随结果，似乎都可以修饰主句，也可修饰从句，会造成歧义，是吗？

从逻辑意思上我觉得好象是表示伴随动作，修饰adhere 。

还有一个问题，逗号后是不能加句子的，但是逗号+and后能加句子，那么这里E选项，逗号后加even though能不能加句子呢？
