答案给的是A，但个人认为应该是B，因为通过progree的名义，而不是progress 的名义来decimate

不知大家有什么看法？

选A 好

可是progress has好像不太好

B应该是不对的，就算是by which这个用法正确的话，后面的句子中还应该加一个动词，因为这是一个定语从句  by which native peoples of the Western Hemisphere （were）decimated

我现在觉得不确定的是A和E，到底是devastation and enslavement 做定语从句的修饰对象呢？还是Christopher Columbus或者是progess？

这个修饰对象有点搞不懂。

in E, "that have decimated the native..." seems to modify a plural noun,

i don't know whether "the devastation and enslavement" is a plural noun or not?

按照标准的语法，the devastation and enslavement 应该是两个概念的并列，后面需要用have的。

不过不知GMAT的规则是怎样的……

偶觉得E错在have，因为根据句式that是优先修饰前面的in the name of progress的，所以只能用has.
