请问braveMBA，我觉得这道题说 电脑“具备”语言能力，这里用“can”表示“能够”。

但是，作为专家（属于人），本身就有语言能力，这里再用can，岂不是说只有专家“能”说话，一般的人“不能”说话了？所以，我觉得还是用does表示一般动作比较好。

我还是同意gemi的观点注意看清题意:make computers that can understand English and other human languages, recognize objects, and reason as an expert does

can引导3个谓语动词understand,recognize,reason并列,后面应该根据助动词补充原则用as expert can

从逻辑意义来讲专家本身会说话只是自己本国语言,但别国语言还是要后天学习的.所以应该补出can
