答案是A, 可是重句主句都用完成时has...,读起来不对。所以我选D, D中强调原因是plunging chip prices, 感觉原因正确。再多的道理我也说不出啦，NN帮忙

1.表示原因的时候because>because of>due to

2.新东方笔记上有的关于时态的问题,主句现在完成时,从句现在完成时是对的,所以A不存在时态错误.

3.句意是因为oversupply带来了价钱上升,所以the manufacturer...;不是说因为上升了的价钱,所以the manufacturer...,体会这种差别.因为这么一个事情,而不是因为一个价钱.

B. "because of"通常强调名词（ＰＲＩＣＥ），意思有变化．并应该用＂price of computer chips"

C.which 指代不清，或指向句子，必错

我选D，D更简洁，而且，在几个表原因的词里，记得说because更强调原因（尤其原因是之前不为人知的事实），感觉这个句子强调的是工厂针对价格下跌的措施，所以due to更好。
