答案是C，但是我当时选E了，看起来C是好点，但是我没有找到E的错误，好像结构不好，但是逻辑主语还是符合的呀大家是怎么看的呢

这道题目，句首一看就知道有逻辑主语的考点；

那么A就可以排除掉了，A里面“Published----，（A），and （B）.”（A）和（B）并列，成了 Published---，both men---逻辑主语不搭配；

B，读一下就不通，"Diderot and his friend Voltaire's" 戛然而止；而把Encyclopedia和Candide 放到with里修饰scandal做什么？

C 正确；

D也是逻辑主语不搭配的原因，排除；

E 呵呵，zhoushao，不看意思，用一个最简单的TOEFL语法：

[介词+which+完整句子]

这样一看也能排除E了。

我再仔细一看，发现我犯了一个大错误，我没有仔细看，C中的that是作为连词，根本不是关系代词，我还错误的以为C中的THAT是关系代词，这样which在这里就根本不是指代scandal，说得过去也只能指代句子，但是这是不对的，所以E中这个错误很大，粗心阿

这句话一片不认识的单词....

其实如果理解了句意会发现还是so...that最好.

我也是没有看懂so后面的单次，才选错的
