Rotman Essay题目

Rotman的4个题目有两个都是weakness，大家觉得应该怎么办？有没有前辈分享一下经验。

1) Discuss your personal and professional development over the past five years and describe how these changes have led you to choose to do your MBA at this time. What are your career goals and how will a Rotman MBA help you ahieve them?

2) One of the Rotman School's underlying peinciples is the value of one; this value reflects the belief that each member of the Rotman community has unique needs and talents. What are your greatest talents and/or abilities and how would each enhance the experience of your classmates？

3) Imagine that ten years from now a colleague is describing you to a new employee. What will s/he say about you that you are not known for now?How will you achieve these new skills?

4) Describe a professional experience when you did not live up to your full potential. What would you do differently if you had to do it over again?

后面这两个其实都是问weakness，一个比较虚，一个比较实。该怎么平衡呢？总不能一半点essay都在讲自己的弱点吧。

个人感觉后面两个题目都不是weakness！

第3个问题应该是Why MBA的扩张版本，和Weakness没有什么关系，你缺少的 <> 你的弱点

第4个问题更着重在你如何handle困难上，应该重点在你如何克服，而不是描述本身的不足。

Essay永远应该是positive的，weakness不是也不能是中心，改进勉强可以成为论点，不过最好还是achievement的过程，这才是能说服Ad -- 你将来也会继续成功。

记得写essay尽量都写正面的东西，即使是第四篇，也要写最后你能力挽狂澜的那种
