I had my interview this afternoon with an alumnus. He was a nice guy. He told me Columbia may not attach too much importance to interview, though. If you have a terrible interview, you are definitely out; but if you have a perfect interview, it may not necessarily help you in.

yumi55, yes, i had an interview, which held 3 days before the waitlist decision.

Susanatsao, how about your interview? mine is not that satisfactory, and i think that's why i was put in the waiting game

I think my interview is not that bad...I am thinking to wirte a letter to the wait list manager and ask for some advise from him.

I also checked the BW, but the ratio of wait list becoming admitted is N/A.
