resume 的具体形式

可能是个比较愚蠢的问题，希望前辈们指教：

我一直认为简历至少应该有个时间表，在这个表里有你清晰的历史轨迹。但最近看了看美国人的简历（比如教授在网络上的简历），基本是按照内容来划分的。我看通常包括：

教育背景：学历，年头
研究兴趣或方向
专业经历：工作经历，学术交流
文章发表
其他：头衔，荣誉，奖励

不知道这是否是美国人的习惯。在国内我做hr的时候，通常看到的简历至少有个流水帐，让对方清楚了解你的轨迹，可好象美国人的方式不同。

I was struggling in resume too and also visited some professional edditing service website. What I see is the resume for B-school applicants is different from a resume for a job-hunting. I didn't include honor/hobbies in my resume as I can state it in other place in the application. I just list my w/e and Education.

I agree different resume format serves different purpose. There is a Wharton resume book in our download zone. You can take a look at it.

No, that's the resume book. Everyone has a one-page long resume.

I clicked the link and it brought me to a new page where it says:

Wharton 2003 resume book

点击浏览该文件

And I clicked the button " 点击浏览该文件" , it only shows a PDF file with many names/companies, no resume pages. Help...

Why am I always have problem with this bbs
