零点の至尊 bro, you case will be ok for most schools, however you had better write to adcom of individual school to confirm it. I hear that some schools may refuse the self-studied degree.
to americans, they treat degree the same, as long as you have the degree. in US universities, they have full time students, part time students, distance learning students, but they treated them the same.
yeah, you are correct, as long as it is certified degree(Xue Wei zheng shu), it does not matter how you get into the program. Usually US schools won't even ask you for that diploma(Xue Li zheng shu).
