这个题目我还想问一个问题，就是except for 中，for何时才能省略，还是永远不能省略啊？我看的辞典上的例子，有的把for括起来，有的没有，不知道是怎磨一会事。看og的解释好像是不能省略for的。请指点。谢谢

我又看了看句子，我觉得是不是因为如果excepting作为现在分词在句首的话，逻辑主语要等于后面句子的主语，而后面句子主语：“Scott Joplin's ragtime opera Treemonisha ”不可能执行这个动作，所以逻辑不合理，这样才不对的，不知道我这样认为有无道理？
