我也问过pace的小秘 lssssss说的确实是对的 T不过100 肯定就得花钱了 因为注册那个考试也要几百刀 而且过不过都是未知数
都觉得是它家语言学院没有生源 所以要榨国际学生的钱

我也是这样认为。每周1090，不可能吧，理解有问题。

pace的会计专业师资非常强，看了一下有14个正教授，denver综排虽较前者好，但只有5、6个。

不会吧，他家一个学分都要926刀，一门课3个学分就要2778刀，14周的语言一共才1090刀，他家赚个屁啊~~不会有这么仁慈的学校吧~~又不是慈善机构~~~囧~~

哎~~我还是直接问问他家ELI吧，官方的说法最准了，省的大家都在这边乱猜。

问了他家ELI，人家给了一个官方的回答。原文如下：

What does the Pre-Master’s program mean to you?



Prior to beginning your university studies at Pace University, you are required to complete at least one semester of coursework in the English Language Institute (ELI).  Your English language skill level will determine how many semesters of language study will be required.   When you arrive you will take an English placement exam which includes a grammar, writing and listening test, and sit for a short interview.  On the same day, you will be placed into your classes by an ELI advisor.  Based on the results, you will be placed in one of the following groups.



Group  #1:  You will be placed into the Pre-Master’s courses (ELI 091A-Academic Skills and ELI 091S Communication Skills).  These classes are 14 weeks in Fall or Spring or 12 weeks in Summer.  They are non-credit Pass/Fail classes.  Each class is 4.5 hours/week for a total of 9 hours.  You will be required to take two additional courses, such as Grammar/Writing, Pronunciation, etc to give you a full-time (18 hours) schedule.

*Cost for this 14 week program will be about $4,800.00 USD



Once you pass all of the courses, you will be required to take the Graduate English Placement exam. Based on your placement recommendation, you will be placed in one of the following categories:

Category  A:  You will take ELI 084A and 084S, both non-credit, for 14 weeks, plus one Graduate course for 3 credits.

Category B: You will take one ELI course, non-credit, plus Business Writing (1 credit), plus 2 additional Graduate courses (approximately 3 credits each).

Category C:  You will take Business Writing (1 credit), and 2, 3 or 4 Graduate courses (approximately 3 credits each).  You will take no ELI courses.

The cost for the 084 courses is $1424 per course.  I’m not sure how much Business Writing costs but if it is one credit, then it should be the cost of one graduate credit.


Group  #2:  You will be placed into the Intensive English program in the ELI.  This program has four levels (050,060,070,080).  Each level takes approximately one semester (14 weeks in Spring/Fall or 12 weeks in Summer) to complete.  You should add one semester of study to each level you need to complete.  For example, if you are placed into Level 080, you will take Level 080 for one semester, and then the Pre-Master’s classes the second semester.  That means it will take you two 14-week semesters to complete the Pre-Master’s program.

*Cost for 14 weeks in the Intensive English Program will be about $4,600 USD.  Once you complete the Intensive English Program and move into the Pre-Masters program you will pay the cost of the Pre-Masters program which is $4,800 USD for 14 weeks.



Please note:

If you present a TOEFL score of 90 or Higher before classes begin, you have met the basic English language requirement of the Pre-Master’s program and will not be required to take coursework in the Pre-Master’s program.  If your score is between 90 and 99 you will be eligible to matriculate.  You will take the Graduate English placement exam and based on the results you will be required to take classes described in Category A, B or C.   If your score is  100 or higher, you will be eligible to begin a full-time graduate program, where you may take 4 graduate courses for credit.



While taking the Pre-Master’s program you will not be allowed to take any graduate courses.

如果嫌上面看的累的话再解释一下：

1。托福100分，雅思7.5分及以上的人不用考语言也不用读语言。

2。托福90-99分，雅思7分的人开学过去要语言测试，这个语言测试没有任何费用。然后根据结果分a,b,c3种情况。

a. 两门语言课，一门专业课(就是你录取的专业），语言课是1424刀一门，不算学分。

b. 一门语言课（费用同上），一门商务写作课（1个学分，大概是926刀），再加2门专业课（同上）。

c. 一门商务写作课（同上），2-4门专业课（同上）。


3。 托福90分以下，雅思6.5及以下的TX就比较惨了。费用比较多。先只能注册一个intensive English courses,费用4600刀，过了以后做个英语测试，再读一学期pre-master，估计也是语言，费用4800刀。这样两个14周搞下来要9400刀。而且pre-master完成之前不可以上专业课。

搞了半天，他家语言的费用不是很贵，托福在90-99之间的TX最多就多花26000人民币了。

希望对大家的选校有帮助，我也要重新考量这个学校了。
